Euphree Lifetime Frame and Limited Component Warranty

1. General Warranty Statement

All Euphree electric bicycles (“ebike”) and their individual covered components (“Covered Components”) are protected against manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of receipt of the ebike by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). The frame is covered by a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner. This warranty is only applicable to ebikes purchased and used in the United States.

The terms and conditions of this warranty may change at any time without notice. For the most current warranty, visit www.euphree.com/pages/warranty. Terms of purchase can be found at www.euphree.com/policies/terms-of-service.

2. Who Is Covered

This warranty applies only to the original owner of an ebike purchased from Euphree’s online store or an authorized Euphree storefront. The warranty begins upon receipt of the ebike and terminates at the earlier of (i) the end of the Warranty Period or (ii) the sale or transfer of the ebike to another individual. This warranty is non-transferable.

3. What Is Covered

  • Lifetime Frame Warranty: The ebike frame is protected against defects in material or workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. Replacement of a defective or failed frame due to manufacturing defect is covered.

  • Two-Year Limited Warranty: All other Covered Components are protected against defects in material or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of delivery, including but not limited to: lithium ion battery (“Battery”), fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, kickstand, and hardware.

4. Shipping and Returns

All warranty replacement parts shipped directly to consumers are subject to a flat shipping fee of $9.99 per shipment. All warranty parts must be returned to Euphree within 60 days using the provided return label, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Euphree support team. Failure to return warranty parts may result in additional charges and/or denial of future warranty claims. Euphree is not responsible for lost or damaged items if the provided return label is not used.

5. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear of any Covered Component.

  • Consumables or parts subject to normal wear (including tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, housing, grips, chain, spokes, and lights).

  • Any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the ebike as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.

  • Damage, failure, or loss caused by unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.

  • Battery damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance, misuse, normal wear, or water damage.

  • Any products sold by Euphree that are not ebikes.

Euphree retains sole discretion to determine whether damage or defect to an ebike or Covered Component is covered by this limited warranty.

6. Shipping Damage

Damage to a Covered Component occurring during shipping is not covered by this warranty; however, Euphree will replace such components if the customer:

  1. Notifies Euphree of the damage within thirty (30) days of receipt.

  2. Provides a dated photograph of the damaged component.

  3. Returns all original packaging and paperwork included with the ebike.

  4. Notes any visible damage on the shipper’s Bill of Lading before signing for the shipment.

Claims for shipping damage are time sensitive. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the ebike upon receipt.

If the customer arranges their own shipping (including use of a freight forwarder), Euphree is not responsible for damage incurred during shipping.

7. Credit Card Chargebacks

If an ebike purchase becomes subject to a credit card chargeback in any amount, and the customer is still in possession of the ebike, this warranty shall be suspended until the chargeback is resolved.

8. Claims Process

Euphree will not replace any Covered Component under this warranty without first receiving photo or video evidence of the claimed defect or damage.

To make a claim:

  1. Contact Euphree Technical Support at support@euphree.com and provide photos or video of the affected component.

  2. The support team will attempt to troubleshoot and may identify a simple solution.

  3. If replacement is necessary, Euphree will provide instructions for returning the defective component and for receiving a replacement.

  4. After receiving the replacement, the support team may provide guidance on installation.

  5. The customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with returning a Covered Component unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Euphree.

  6. Warranty replacements will only be shipped to the address of the original purchaser.

9. Limitations

The remedies described above are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies and Euphree’s entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Under no circumstances shall Euphree’s liability exceed the actual amount paid by the customer for the ebike, nor shall Euphree be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, whether direct or indirect.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply in those jurisdictions.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

To the extent permissible under applicable law, Euphree disclaims all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, for the duration of this express limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply.
