Euphree City Robin X + checks all the boxes

I extensively researched E-bikes and knew the features I wanted. I live along the Palisades by the GWB and ride into Manhattan. These routes are preferably ridden with a bike that has a good amount of torque, class 3 speeds at points and watt hours for the lengthy journey. The ideal bike would have a min 500 watt sustained motor with 900 watts peak. A torque sensor,85NM of torque, 14AH battery, 28mph top speed, hydraulic disc brakes, suspension for comfort. Additionally I'm looking for a bike that looks sharp. A brilliant color, integrated wiring, step thru design. With all the features I sought, Euphree was not standing alone yet. Other brands like Aventon, Ride 1 up, Hovsco, among others offer similar features. So, I looked deeper until one bike would emerge and win me over. I knew from test rides that I didn't want 'ghost peddling'.Euphree X + has 11-28 tooth gearing which eliminates ghost peddling up to 28mph.Euphree separated from the competition with their attention to detail. From the welded in frame rear rack, Suntour seatpost suspension, 12g rear spokes, 200 lux headlight, cafe wheel lock ,ergonomic no slip grips. Lastly but most importantly is their customer service. They are always looking for feedback to improve the rider experience. They are very courteous and informative. I waited to reach 1000 miles before writing this review. I purchased on July 23rd 2023 and in 7 weeks rode 1000 miles. I am very happy I chose Euphree and strongly recommend this amazing bike.

Super Comfortable

We have 3 e-bikes and this one is hands down the most comfortable. The adjustable handlebars and Suntour seat post are great and must haves. I upgraded the chainring to 52T (comes with 42T) which was about $120 with labor and is why I went 4 stars for this model. The X model I see resolved that issue.

Fun to ride

After some research and test rides I settled on the Euphree City. I am so glad that was my choice. A couple small problems but the folks at Euphree worked with my local shop and all is well. Started riding in mid January and now have over 900 miles. Love the suspension.

A wonderful bike!

I got my City Robin, a few months ago. My first Ebike. I used it for commuting, carrying groceries and garden supplies between my two gardens (one a community garden) and general joy riding. I had absolutely no problems and was getting close to a 500 mile tune up. Sturdy, easy to ride and understand and looked great! Overall a wonderful purchase and bike. Sadly it was stolen this week from my home. I am absolutely devastated. It will take a while, but I will be saving for another, without a doubt.

Tested a bunch, Euphree City Robin X was the best for me!

I did a ton of online research and thought I was headed for a cool looking fat tire 750W Ebike for my first non-traditional bike. I test drove several and realized I did not care for the truck like feel and handling of the fat tire style and the heavy weight of the bike ( I am in my mid 50's). I much preferred the comfort style with around a 2.5-inch-wide tire. I next test drove the Denago, Aventon Level, Magnum Cosmo S and Euphree. The City Robin X was clearly the most comfortable and nicest looking bike of the bunch. And so much lighter that any of the fat tire bikes. The fit, finish and styling is fantastic. I highly recommend finding a dealer for some comparison test rides, you cannot tell the whole story from looking at online ads. In the Chicagoland area I recommend Next Ebike in Bolingbrook, Nick and Tom are both great to deal with. This dealership has a nearby very steep hill which is awesome for testing the motor power. The City Robin 500W motor surprised and impressed me. My first ride was 22 miles with hills and headwinds, and I only used 41% of the battery power. Don't be fooled by the name, the City Robin is great on trails, it is not a city only bike. I am very impressed by my blue Euphree City Robin X! The Youtube Citizen Cycle review of this bike is right on the money.
