How to Adjust Your Ebike Stem for Comfort & Safety
Comfort is key at Euphree. The City Robin X+ lets you tailor your riding position for an upright cruise or a more active posture. Here’s how to adjust your ebike stem for a safer, more comfortable ride.
1. Secure the Stem to the Fork
- Loosen the two bolts holding the stem on the fork using an Allen wrench.
- Remove the stem cap with a flathead screwdriver.
- Tighten the internal Allen bolt just enough to eliminate wobble — but not so tight that turning becomes stiff.
2. Align the Handlebars
Step in front of the bike, hold the wheel steady with your feet, and twist the handlebars so the stem lines up with the front wheel. Once straight, tighten the two stem bolts securely.
3. Adjust Stem Angle
- Loosen the bolt on the right-hand side of the stem (the left is fixed).
- Sit on the bike, pull handlebars toward you, and choose the most comfortable angle.
- Use the printed gauge on the stem as a reference.
- Tighten the bolt firmly.
Tip: Keep a slight bend in your elbows — it reduces fatigue and keeps circulation flowing during longer rides.
4. Adjust Handlebar Position
If the angle change shifts your handlebars, simply:
- Loosen the four bolts on the front stem plate.
- Rotate handlebars to your preferred position.
- Tighten bolts evenly until secure.
5. Test Ride
Take your bike for a spin. If everything feels smooth, stable, and comfortable, your adjustments are set. If not, fine-tune again until the fit feels natural.
